613.4 Identifying the Authors of a Work Made for Hire
A work of authorship is considered a work made for hire (I) if the work was “prepared by an employee within the scope of his or her employment,” or (ii) if the work was
“specially ordered or commissioned.” 17 U.S.C. § 101 (definition of “work made for hire”).
